Tela (TAY-lah) is a planet much like Earth; its geology, culture, and technology are all nearly identical. There are, however, two major notable differences: 1) It's populated entirely by anthropomorphic animal people of a wide variety of species, and 2) there are two living, breathing, monster-fighting cartoon characters residing on it.
Puri
A peculiar possum. Commonly clad in a blue sailor suit, she uses her supernatural empathy and phenomenal cosmic power to fight all manner of evil and protect the innocent at all costs. Mischievous, but never cruel. Arguably the main character of this story.
Ruby
A cute cat. Puri's pinker partner with a cheerful demeanor and unusually heightened senses, her magic embodies the planet and all its life, making for a powerful force...as long as she doesn't get distracted.
Aster
A reliable robot. Sophisticated in both design and manner, she heads communications for Trinity Division — the organization responsible for monitoring and combatting Convale's interdimensional monster problem — and is the only one capable of pushing its defense systems to their full potential.
